Preparing for Transition:

The transition period to the new license categories of broker and managing broker runs May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.

The proficiency exams and transition courses will not be available to take until the transition period starting May 1, 2011. It is not known at this time what the fees or costs will be in connection with the transition.

It has been confirmed at this point is that IDFPR still allows salespersons to complete Broker Pre-License course work and obtain a broker license prior to April 30, 2011.  Taking advantage of this option allows salespersons to avoid transition altogether.  Why not become a broker ahead of the crowd?
